MORINGA/ MLONGE BENEFITS

Moringa Tree or  MLONGE as we call it in Swahili Language ,is one of the nutrient  plants in the world. When I say nutrient Plant I mean the Most Nutrient-rich Plant in the world. Moringa has been exploding in popularity lately and for good reason, it is generally regarded as one of the most useful trees in the world.
Moringa has a distinct taste that is difficult to describe, difficult to compare slightly sweet and slightly sharp like radishes.. Or simply amazing and delicious taste that is difficult to explain (OMG).
Moringa can be interm of Seeds, Oil, powder or Fresh. I prefer using Moringa powder
Using Moringa for the first time can temporarily cause diarrhea, due to the high concentration of antioxidants that cleans waste products from the digestive system. If this occurs, begin with a lower dosage and slowly build it up to the required dosage
Since I started using Moringa, I Use in almost everything hahaha… i mix in juice, yoghurt or food, it’s very delicious (I got used with the taste). Yes, you can use Moringa daily, 2 to 5 times per day; there are no known harmful side effects.
With Moringa leaf powder, Moringa tabl and/or Moringa capsules you can easily meet the daily dose requirements.
ets
Moringa can be eaten in salads, smoothies, juices, sauces, soups and hot dishes. Can also be sprinkled over food, the same way as salt and pepper.
No side effects of moringa leaves have been reported. Hence, it can be safely consumed by children in porridge, pastas and breads to increase the nutrient content of meals
It is a natural flavor enhancer; it brings out the natural flavor of the food
What is more is that it is especially good for men and especially useful in healthy sexual functioning. It’s true! The amazing healing capabilities and borderline miraculous support that it provides to the human body makes this one of the easiest ways for men to support their sexual health while also, conveniently, boosting their overall health as well. Let’s breakdown the different ways that Moringa is good for both Humans

25Types of Heels: The Ultimate Guide

Whether you've just started working in a shoe department and want to be able to talk the lingo, or you've recently gotten really into fashion, knowing your shoe definitions is a useful skill. When it comes to high heeled shoes, we have a special place in our hearts. So we've decided to create the ultimate list of types of heels. Some of these have gone out of style but with the cyclical fashion industry, we won't be surprised if they make a comeback soon. Without further ado, we give you 27 heel types. Think you could ace the quiz?

High, Mid and Low Heel Types

  1. Kitten Heels
We recently wrote about kitten heelsand love the style for the comfort / fashion mix. They're great for parties or work events where you don't need the extra height but will be on your feet for awhile.

  2. Pumps
Also known as simply high heels, pumps are usually wider and between 2 and 3 inches in height. They're typically low cut around the front.

  3. Stilettos
The highest of all the high heels, stilettos can reach up to 8 inches. While these heights can cause problems walking for many, it's a worthy skill for the lengthening effect they have on one's legs. Note: many stilettos are also platforms due to the height (see below for platforms).

  4. Ankle Strap Heels
A favorite of the Clickless team, ankle strap heels are very much in style right now. The height of the heel can vary, but the one common denominator is the strap that goes around the ankle, making the heels more secure and comfortable to walk in.

  5. Wedge Heels
There are two different types of wedge shoes: wedge heels and wedge sandals. Wedge heels are flush just like a high heel would be, and there is no separation from the heel to the sole.

  6. Wedge Sandals
While they have the same type of heel as a wedge heel, wedge sandals have a more open, sandal upper.

  7. Cone Heels
Wider at the sole of the foot and narrower at the base, cone heels form what you might expect: a cone. Just picture an ice cream cone on the bottom of your shoe. Disclaimer: while we know you love your shoe collection, please try not to eat them.

  8. Sling Back Heels
Unlike ankle strap heels, the sling back heel just has a strap that goes around the back of the achilles heel. This provides a more elegant look while still achieving the function of stabilization.

  9. Platform Heels
You can see platform heels from short to tall. The main thing that makes them platform is the part of the shoe under the sole is thicker. Many say this makes the higher heels more comfortable because there's less of a height differential between the back and front of the foot.

  10. High Heel Sandals
With varying heights, a high heel sandal is anything that has any of the heel types listed here (high, stiletto, kitten), but with a sandal upper.

  11. Peep Toe Heels
Somewhat of a tease, peep toe heels come in all shapes and sizes. All they need is for a pop of your colorful toenails to show to be a peep toe!

  12. Cork High Heels
These heels simply refer to the cork material used to make them. They can vary in height and style, but the cork material makes for a softer, more cushioned step.

  13. High Heeled Boots
Steve Miller said, "in the wintertime when all the trees are brown, wear high heeled boots". Okay, we made that last part up. But these babies pair well under or over jeans or even with a skirt or dress.

  14. Ankle Booties
Making their comeback within the last few years, high heeled booties, or ankle booties, are great for spring or fall days when a full boot is overkill.

  15. Spool Heels
If you think of a spool of thread, you may understand the concept of spool heels. The heel is thicker at the sole of the foot, narrow in the middle, and then comes back out at the base.

  16. Mules
Mule heels are any type of heel that comes up high over the top of the foot. You could have an open or closed to mule; the height of the heel can vary.

  17. Ballroom Dance Shoes
Strappy shoes that typically have an enclosed back and ankle strap, ballroom dance shoes have lots of support for (you guessed it) getting your groove on. They're low enough to be stable but high enough to provide a little vertical lift. They're becoming more popular at weddings.

  18. Cut Out Heels
Getting more on the funky, cool side of high heel types, cut out heels are any type of heel that has a portion of the upper cut out for effect.

  19. Corset Heels
Similar to a mule style of heel or a bootie, the difference with a corset heel is that the two sides are tied together as a traditional corset would be.

  20. French Heels
Also known as Louis Heels or Pompador Heels, these are similar to spool heels wherein they are short but have some curve to the heel.

  21. Oxfords
The traditional Oxford has that academy look with a flat heel. But lately, we're seeing Oxford heels come on the scene. The heel is still flat at the base, but with more height than a traditional Oxford.

  22. Chunky Heels
This is the general term for any heel with a wider base that is typically square. They're usually on the short to medium side, and provide more stability than traditional high heels or stilettos.

  23. Comma Heels
Think of the comma. Yes, we're referring to the punctuation mark. Now line that up with the heel of a shoe, and you have a comma heel!

  24. Espadrille Heels
Somewhat new on the fashion scene, Espadrille shoes have a fabric upper and a plaited fiber sole, made popular worldwide by Toms. Espadrille heels are a take on this traditional flat, and can have a heel or wedge base.

  25. Fantasy Heels
Here's the wildcard heel type to cover all of the crazy designs out there. There are so many types of heels you could never think of in your head, and yet they do exist. We're not sure who wears them other than maybe Lady Gaga, but they do exist.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

In the end, it's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years.

"Abraham Lincoln"

QUOTE OF THE DAY

Life is Like riding a bicycle to keep your balance you must keep moving

Not everyone is an entrepreneur

"Entrepreneur"

A term that is bandied about too much, if you ask me.

There's nothing wrong with doing your Thing with someone else or for someone else, so don't get hung up that you **must** be an entrepreneur to really do your Thing. Sure, it's easier to do exactly what you want the way you want to when you're in charge, but there are plenty of smart businesses that will realise that you being allowed to do your Thing the way you want to do it will benefit their business and give them the best results from employing you. So don't worry if you're not an entrepreneur.

You can still be independent—you just don't have to be enterprising.

Lots of people say they're an entrepreneur but really, when it comes down to it (and if we're being pedantic, which I am!), they may just be 'self-employed'. And there's nothing wrong with being self-employed. In fact, it's a smart move if you don't want to have a boss—you can do what you want, how you want, when you want, as you have created your own job and you set your hours and pay. What you might not be is entrepreneurial.

And it's that risk-taking that makes the difference to me.

If you're happy to just do your Thing—get paid for it—all is well, but you're probably not an entrepreneur—just a self-employed, or employed even, Thinger. It's when you take risks—either the risk of standing out, of doing something differently, of calling yourself a 'name', of standing by a process or philosophy that's yours—then you're an entrepreneur.

You're also probably a little bit crazy. Crazy in the 'daring and don't give a stuff' kinda way. Sure, you're doing your Thing, but you'll do it no matter what anyone thinks. You'll do your Thing because it's your Thing to do and if you have to stand out in the process than so be it. It's not always necessary to be an entrepreneur to be a Business Celebrity, but it's likely.

Because when it comes down to it, if you really want to get noticed for doing your Thing, you'll need to do things differently—and that includes your Thing being different. You'll probably have to take a risk that your Thing works, and is going to cause a commotion—and that's all good... that makes you a risk-taking entrepreneur, so let the good times roll because profit will be your reward.

And if you want to do your Thing quietly as a self-employed Thinger, please go ahead—it's what ever works for you. Just know that if you really want to get famous for it, you might need to take a risk or two... and that might just make you an entrepreneur instead.

Not everyone has the same energy

ROLE MODEL OF THE WEEK : WARDA OMAR

Leo kwenye Safu yetu ya Role Model of The Week tunaye Warda Omar Mohamed ,binti wa miaka 20 ambaye ni  upcoming fashion designer anaekuja kwa juu, i got a chance to interview her, she is indeed amazing young lady ,with focus and determination to her carrier ,

HE: Kwa muda gani you have been creating clothing? Kwanini and how did you start your own line?

HE: Tell us about Malkia, What’s the story behind it, what’s the philosophy? What makes Malkia?

Warda:
Actually my mother played a great role in selecting the name.Malkia is a swahili word which means Queen, And being A Tanzanian it is a word which attracted me with the aim to give royalty feeling to the women. All women Are Queen in their own unique way  and i want to express that through my designs for them.

HE: Tuambie kuhusu brand yako, what exactly do you create.

Warda:
Mara nyingi nina buni nguo ambazo zinakua suitable kuvaliwa kwenye shughuli  mbalimbali, kwa sababu kwenye ubunifu wa nguo kuna ule wa very creative kama wanavyofanya nchi za nje ambazo zinakua ni ngumu kuvaa kwenye mazingira ya kawaida especially hapa nchini so huwa nina avoid.Nakua nafikiria ordinary design ambayo naitengeneza iwe extra ordinary.

HE: Ilikuaje ukashiriki Swahili Fashion Week 2015?

Warda: Kabla hata sija launch my clothing line nilikua natamani kupitisha nguo zangu katika sfw platform ambapo nikaambiwa they offer platform for emerging designers ila in a form of competition. So i thought i will go for it just so nipate exposure, where as mpaka uchaguliwe kuwa mmoja wao lazma uoneshe fashion  illustration nzuri na wakati naambiwa nilikua sijui hata kuchora so nikajiwekea goal kua by the time i have to present my illustration nitakua nishajua kuchora.and end of the day nikawa selected kua mmoja wa emerging designer.

HE: Unatoa wapi materials zako unazotumia kudesign nguo?

Warda:
From tandika kuna duka moja ambalo huwa naenda kuchukua materials na pia akileta mzigo mpya tu kutoka dubai anani julisha au nikiwa nina order  of some kind of material ambayo hana huwa  anani agizia

HE:Where do you see yourself and your brand in few years?

Warda:
Malkia will definitely be international. It will be in London fashion week, Paris Fashion week and Malkia-fy the Hollywood celebrities. That's the Next Big Goal.

HE: how has your work evolved since you began your own label

Warda:
I must say sfw 2015 gave me big exposure i get orders for custom- tailoring for people since i Don't have a store yet so i get online orders. It's going amazing especially for the line which is in for the less than 5 months . I'm thankful to God.

HE:According to you , kuna vigezo vya lazima ili kuweza kuwa fashion designer?

Warda:
Fashion Design is an art unacho hitaji ni good imagination.Yani uwe na uwezo wa kubuni nguo mpaka watu wajiulize hivi huyu kafikiria nini.Na kabla hujai transform your imagination to live outfit, inabidi uiweke kwenye mchoro.uwe mchoro mzuri au mbaya as long as unaeleweka you are good to go.Ila imagination is the Key.

HE:Je familia yako inaku support?

Warda: 100%. Especially my mother.Anani support sana like I said earlier yeye ndio aliye come up with the name Malkia.Everything  i do 55% ni kwa sababu ya support nayopata kutoka kwa mama. Infact aliniambia nilikua na tabia ya kumpelekea fundi kitambaa na kumpa mshono anishonee when i was 5 years, na alikua ananiachs nimueleze fundi nguo ninayo taka anishonee.

HE: Unadesign na kushona mwenyewe ama una mafundi wanakusaidia kushona,

Warda: Well nina mafundi wangu ambao huwa wananishonea but hopefully by the end of this year nitakua nina shona mwenyewe.

HE: Je ni changamoto zipi unakutana nazo?

Warda:
So far sijakutana na changamoto yoyote, sijui kwa sababu I'm excited doing it au haija tokea kitu cha kunikwaza.Nilipokelewa kwa upendo sana katika Fashion Industry  with Mustafa Hassanali and team God bless them.

HE: what would you like to achieve before the end of the year?

Warda: Because this year I'm going to take part Again in sfw as upcoming designer so I'm hoping to get more exposure For Malkia and win the trophy for upcoming designer 2016.

HE: What is your definition of success in life?

Warda:
Is when You Aim for being a better self in all aspects not only Financially especially when you face challenges and you choose not to give up.

HE: Ushauri gani unawapa designer wadogo na wale ambao wanataka kuingia kwenye industry ya fashion?

Warda:
Unajua designers chipukizi wengi wanataka wakisha ingia things should go on point.but it doesn't work that way. It takes time kujulikana, it takes time kukubaliwa as long as you are persistence on it ipo siku you will get noticed. So they should go for it without thinking what if it don't work out, but they should think what if it work out .

HE: How would you describe your personal fashion style?

Warda:
I like keeping it simple by wearing casual outfits a normal teenager wears  with less make up. I don't glam up mostly unless it's reaaalllly big occasion.

HE: Whats next for you professionally

Warda:
I am a girl who takes up as many opportunities as i can to have streams of income . I'm 20 and i own 2 business which I still find it less so  I'm  looking into another opportunities. So in general there's no limit of what i can do.

HE: How would you relate past and present fashion trends

#Warda:
Fashion was not taken seriously back then but now Everyone is aware of what's going on . example the colours since 2016 started i noticed people take 2016 color very serious. Also people are more aware of how to match their outfits and accessories.its impressive that even men take their casual fashion sense very serious.

HE: Unafanya nini kingine apart from fashion designing

Warda:
Well I'm a student pale Financial Training centre I'm taking ACCA, also I own my business which deals with health And lifestyle with A dynamic company called Forever Living.
Kazi ya Warda katika maonyesho ya Swahili Fashion Week 2015
She is just 20 years Old ....
Go girl..go keep it up...Heart by Elegance wishing you GoodLuck

QUOTE OF THE DAY

We live in a world where some women are being paid to get naked whilst others get fined for being covered!!

ROAD TO SUCCESS

No matter how old you are, where you’re from or what you do for a living, we all share something in common—a desire to be successful. Each person’s definition of success is different, however, as some may define success as being a loving and faithful spouse or a caring and responsible parent, while most people would equate success with wealth, fame, and power.
We all want to achieve success so we could live a comfortable life—have financial freedom, drive a nice car, and live in a beautiful house. However, although success can be achieved, it does not come easy. There is no better way to succed than to follow the footsteps of those that already did...

Here are few steps/ways to achieve wealth and success

1.Do more than what’s required

2.Talk less and listen more.

3. Keep a positive outlook.

4. Make a Commitment to the journey.

5. Work hard. Push yourself. Do not settle for mediocrity.

6. Be curious about life

7. Think what you love to do and do it
“You know you are on the road to success if you would do your job and not be paid for it." Oprah Winfrey

8. Learn how to balance life.
“There is an immutable conflict at work in life and in business, a constant battle between peace and chaos. Neither can be mastered, but both can be influenced. How you go about that is the key to success.” Phil Knight, CEO of Nike Inc..

9. Don't be afraid of failure
“Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.” Henry Ford founder of Ford Motors

10. Believe in your capacity to succeed
“If you can dream it, you can do it.” Walter Disney

Set a goal for yourself

"Failure is unavoidable in our lives. But if I can learn something from it every time, the chance of success will only increase."

Home Remedies : how to get rid of Black heads /Whiteheads fast

Anyone who suffers from acne will also have the problem of black or whiteheads on the face. Whiteheads, also known as closed comedones in medical terms, form when dead skin cells and sebum block the hair follicles. They develop under the skin and look like white bumps. Blackheads, on the other hand, are open hair follicles filled with lots of dead skin cells and sebum that have developed because of oxidation. Whiteheads are very common in people who have oily skin. Other causes include unhealthy diet, stress, acne, smoking and unclean face. The symptoms are similar to those of acne, only difference is that whiteheads are not painful. Whiteheads are easy to remove and can be prevented at home, by using these remedies.

Home Remedies for Whiteheads

1. Oatmeal Scrub
Scrubbing helps open up the blocked hair follicles. You can buy a good scrub from your local store or make one at home by mixing sugar, honey and oatmeal. Take 1/3 cup of oatmeal, ¼ cup of brown sugar and ¼ cup of honey. Mix the ingredients and apply small amounts on your skin. Massage gently for 5 minutes, and then rinse it off with warm water.
2. Facial Steaming
Steaming is the best way to get rid of whiteheads, as it unblocks the clogged skin pores. Take a facial steam, once in a day.
3. Tomatoes
Tomatoes are rich in vitamin C and are very good for dull skin. Simply rub the pulp of a tomato on the face, focus more on the areas with whiteheads. Leave it for 5 minutes and then wash.
4. Milk
Simply mix 2 tablespoons of milk with a tablespoon of lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of salt. Stir well. Apply it on the face in a circular motion. Wash it off with water and pat your skin dry.
  • Alternatively, mix 4 tablespoons of whole milk and 1 tablespoon of regular salt in a bowl. Massage gently on the face. Wash it off after 20 minutes with cold water. Repeat two times in a day.
5. Potato Face Mask
To make the face mask, blend a few raw potatoes and apply the paste on your face. Wait for 30 minutes, and then rinse it off.
6. Toothpaste
